O-1A Self-Check
Go through the 8 evidentiary criteria one by one. Each step shows what the USCIS Policy Manual says USCIS looks for. About 3 minutes, no signup, and your answers never leave your browser.
Have a CV? Start by mapping it to the criteria.
How this works
Ten short steps: whether you have a major internationally recognized award, one step for each of the 8 evidentiary criteria, and who would file the petition. Each criterion step can show the Policy Manual text for that criterion.
The summary counts what you marked as documented, to verify or not claimed, against the minimum of 3 criteria USCIS first looks for. It never says whether you qualify: USCIS decides on the totality of the evidence.
Questions
- Does the Self-Check tell me if I qualify?
- No. It counts your own answers and shows the Policy Manual text. Eligibility is decided by USCIS on the totality of the evidence.
- Are my answers stored?
- Only in your browser, so you can come back to them. Nothing is sent to a server.
- What should I do after the Self-Check?
- Build your evidence checklist for the criteria you marked, and read the guide for each one.
